Ingredients :
20 dry Bombay duck (bombil)
2 tbsp garlic chopped
1 tbsp ginger grated
2 green chili slit
2 onion chopped
2 tomato chopped
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
Salt as per taste
3 tbsp oil
½ tsp Sugar
Method :
1. Clean the dry Bombay duck
and cut into small pieces and wash in water 3 to 4 times.
2.Soak for 10 minutes the washed dry Bombay duck fish.
3. Heat oil in a non stick pan in that add garlic, ginger, green
chili, onion and a pinch of salt,
4. Fry till the onion become soft,
5. Now add turmeric pwd, red chili pwd, black pepper pwd and mix it
well.
6. Add tomatoes and mix all together add 2 tbsp water.
7. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes or till the tomatoes become
soft.
8. Open the lid and add soaked dry Bombay duck (do not add water),
add salt, sugar and mix it well.
9. Cover the lid and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on low flame.
10. Open the lid add fresh coriander leaves and mix it well.
11. Dry Bombay duck chili fry can be serve with as a side dish.
