Ingredients :-
Step 1 (Soaking And Boiling Chana)
1 Cup Black Chana ( Chana Soak In Water For 6 Hours Or Over
Night)
½ Liter Water
Salt
Step 2 (Frying And Grinding Masala Paste)
2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
1 Inch Ginger Cut Into Pieces
6-8 Garlic Cloves
2 No. Onion Sliced
½ Cup Coconut
1 ½ Tbsp Garam Masala Powder
2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder Salt
1 Cup Fresh Green Coriander Leaves Chop
Water To Grind Masala
Step 3 (To Make Curry By Adding Masala Paste)
2 Tbsp
Cooking Oil
2 No. Onion Sliced
2 No. Tomatoes Chop
Add Masala Paste
Add Boiled Chana
Method :-
Step 1
1. Put the soaked black chana in pressure
cooker by adding ½ liter water and salt.
Close
the cooker and cook til 4 whistle or till the chana is cooked well.
STEP 2
2. Make masala by heating oil in a vessel, add ginger, garlic, onion,
coconut, garam
masala pwd, red chilli pwd and green coriander leaves mix well on low
flame
fry
well everything , switch off the flame remove the masala and keep it aside till
its
cool
down completely.
3. Put masala into the mixture jar by adding
little water and grind to a smooth paste, and
keep
aside.
STEP 3
4. Again heat oil in a deep vessel, once
oil is hot add the onion slice add
little
salt
to it so the onion cook faster.
5. Add tomatoes and cook till they are soft.
6. Now add the grinded masala paste and little
water and combine all together and fry
till
the masala leaves the oil.
7. Add boiled black chana with water in the
masala and mix well, add more water if
the
gravy
is very thick.
8. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
9. Garnish with green coriander and serve with
hot steam rice.
